Donald R. Herrmann has been a Structured Settlement Consultant for 19 years.  He joined International Structured Settlement Services, Inc. in 1984 and Summit Services in 1995. Don is CEO of Don Herrmann Agency, Inc, and Dakota Structured Settlements, Inc.  He has testified as an expert witness in 132 cases regarding Structured Settlements, annuities and other investments.

        Mr. Herrmann specializes in the advance uses of Structured Settlements to resolve Workers Compensation claims.  Mr. Herrmann is a member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association, National Association of Security Dealers, National Association of Life Underwriters and the National Financial Planners.  For added security, Don carries Errors&Omissions Liability for his insurance clients plus an extra E&O for structured settlements.

        Don has been a resident of Rapid City, South Dakota for 28 years. He served in the United States Navy from 1963  to 1968, winning various commendations in Europe, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, South East Asia and the Mediterranean.  Mr. Herrmann completed his B.S. in Business Finance and Economics as well as a Composite Major in Social Sciences at Black Hills State University, Spearfish, South Dakota and Columbia University.  Currently, Mr. Herrmann is studying for his CLU, CHFC.

        Don graduated from the Goodyear Executive Management Program in 1974 and was a manager with G&N Enterprises from 1975 to 1981.  From 1981 to 1996, Don completed 15 years with the Prudential Preferred Insurance Agencies as a Pension Specialist, Preferred Agent and Graduate of the Young Lions Fraternity. Mr. Herrmann has been the President and owner of Don Herrmann Agency, Inc., and Dakota Structured Settlements, Inc.of South Dakota since 1993.

        He specializes in design solutions for Structured Settlements, charitable, education, estate, annuities, and retirement planning, including investment and asset allocation recommendations.   Don is a registered representative of Princor Financial Services. He also is a recognized specialist in employee benefit programs, group health, life, dental and disability insurance plans, pension plans and deferred compensation plans.  Mr. Herrmann has been a guest lecturer for legal, charitable and estate councils in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming.
